Barn Project

I went out and took some more photos of some barns today. It should get me up to barn pictures #3, #4, and #5. Unfortunately, I won't have the pictures back from development until tomorrow. Until then I will work on an architectural rendering of a 3d house. I also need to find some more interesting barns.

Barn Drawings - Barn #2

This is barn #2. It is also the last barn I have a photo of so I will need to go out and take more. Also, I am kind of thinking about starting another project. I'd like to see how many barns I can draw between now and next summer. Once I get all of my barns drawn I will see if I can sell them and donate the proceeds to the Big Yellow School Bus program that helps schools to pay for art events. Or maybe the Iowa Barn Foundation might have a use for them. I'm not sure. I'll start to look into it more once I have more than 2 drawings done. In the mean time, if any one knows of any interesting barns that I can draw, let me know.

Barn Drawings

I have decided to get back into drawing. I haven't drawn anything (except doodles) since 1990. This is my first attempt. It is a little smaller in size than I use to work in, but I thought I should start small and go slow. :)

Underwater with VRay Fog

Just a quick test render on an underwater effect. With a little more work and higher settings this could be kind of interesting.

Almost Done!

It is almost done. I just have to live with it for a while and see what else I think it needs.

Getting a little closer...

I added a few more things like the floor lamps, plants, pictures, vases, and some scrabble items. I still don't like the looks of the wine in the wine glasses. It looks too thick to me. I will work on it tomorrow.

Scrabble anyone...

I added a scrabble board on the backtable, fixed the wine glasses(sort of) and straightened out the placemats.
